Nirvana Confirmed as Official Travel Partner for PTO Tour

The Professional Triathlete Organization (PTO) has named Nirvana as the Official Travel Partner of the PTO Tour in 2022.

The PTO Tour in 2022 consists of:

  • The PTO Canadian Open in Edmonton, Canada, July 23-24;
  • The Collins Cup in Bratislava, Slovakia, August 20-21; and
  • The PTO US Open in Dallas, Texas on September 17-18.

According to the PTO… “The professional races will see the world’s greatest non-editor professional male and female triathletes compete for a purse of US$1,000,000 for each Open and US$1,500,000 for the Collins Cup.”

Age group races have also been announced for all PTO Tour events, giving amateurs the opportunity to meet and race alongside the professionals, considered a hallmark of the sport of triathlon.

As part of the partnership, Nirvana will offer travel packages for all races on the PTO Tour, starting with the Collins Cup.

“Age-group competitors will be able to absorb all the hair-raising, thrilling and inspiring action of professional racing on Saturday August 20 before heading to the closed-road course on Sunday to experience it for themselves. “

According to PTO, the Collins Cup package is the “ultimate triathlon tour”. Designed specifically to give fans and age groups the opportunity to experience the facilities of the x-bionic sphere sports resort as well as giving exclusive access to professional athletes competing in the Collins Cup.

With a price starting from €1033 per person, the package includes:

  • 5 nights accommodation at the official 4* race hotel, the x-bionic sphere, with the possibility of rubbing shoulders with the PTO professional triathletes competing in the Collins Cup
  • Airport reception with private round-trip airport transfers (including bicycle transport)
  • A swim, bike and run workout with a professional PTO triathlete ahead of the Collins Cup
  • Exclusive Q&A with Collins Cup captains ahead of the pro race
  • Spectator access to the Collins Cup
  • Photo opportunity with the winning team of the Collins Cup
  • Admission to the Collins Cup press conference (subject to availability)
  • Guaranteed participation in the age group race (additional entry fees apply)
