Westerville Art Hop Among Many Early Spring Offerings

The Westerville Arts Council provides the ArtsLine column.

The 2022 Westerville Art Hop, scheduled for 1-5 p.m. on April 9, will feature artists exhibiting and demonstrating their work at 35 locations in and around the Uptown Westerville area.

All of the tour stops and performers will be featured on an interactive map online at artscouncilofwesterville.com and uptownwestervilleinc.com, as well as on a printed map to be picked up at the City Hall Yard Welcome Tent. The jump is sponsored by the Westerville Arts Council and Uptown Westerville Inc. and is free to the public.

Until April – Works by Westerville community artists. Java Gallery, 20 S. State St.

April 1 to 10 – The curtain players continue the performances of “Present Laughter”. Tickets are on curtainplayers.org.

April 4 and 6 – Prominent composer Libby Larsen. This most-performed living composer will present at the Church of the Messiah on April 4 and give a talk at the Fritsche Theater on April 6. To learn more, visit otterbein.edu/packlecture.

April 4-25 – Boxland Media Classes, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday. Voiceover lessons provide experience in character voices, accents, and commercials. For more details, visit boxlandmedia.com/academy.

April 5 – Crafting with the Council: Felted Fluffiest, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Participants will learn the art of wool felting by creating a cuddly little bunny at Good Vibes Winery, 2 S. State St. Register at artscouncilofwesterville.com.
